Within the framework of strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors in promoting national tourism.
The Public Security Directorate, in partnership with the Jordan Hotels Association, held a specialized workshop for hotel security workers in Amman, aimed at raising awareness about national and international standards of security measures and public safety in hotel facilities.

The workshop introduced the participants to the most appropriate means of applying security and safety measures to serve the guests of Jordan.

The general manager of the Jordan Hotels Association, Mr. Mustafa kaoush, praised the integrated efforts of the specialized public security units to maintain Jordan as a safe and secure Oasis as promised .

Brigadier General Imad Shoman, director of the Tourism Police Department, said at the workshop about the role of security in the tourism sector, and the need to hold such workshops to raise security awareness about the Protocols of tourist security work, confirming on the importance of security audits for people working in the sector, as well as the importance of having qualified emergency plans and teams for preventive response
with it.

For his part, the general manager of JHA said that the Jordan Hotels Association places specialized training courses in its priorities, especially for employees in the hotel sector, as they are one of the most important pillars of the tourism industry and a tributary of the national economy, appreciating the efforts of the units of the Directorate of Public Security and the importance of cooperation and coordination between us to develop the work of the tourism sector in general and the hotel sector in particular, as it is considered a major source of national income in the kingdom .
